The T joint is made of plastic, which seems unusual at this price point, but it is a heavier plastic than many others. There's a dryer, and you can save user presets for two people, allowing you to easily use the cleaning settings you prefer. The back of the remote has an LCD screen with temperature controls for the water, seat, and dryer. You can also change the self-cleaning and energy-saving modes here. The screen is unusual, and the two-sided remote is counterintuitive. Nonetheless, the remote is one of the most usable we've come across.
